Paws & Trails DFW is an independent guide to dog-friendly Dallas-Fort Worth. It was started by a local dog owner who wanted one place to find the practical details that matter before a walk: shade, surface, water, leash rules, and when a place gets busy.

How we gather and check information

• Details come from public sources such as city park pages, local ordinances, and event pages, plus tips from readers.
• Every detail is checked against an official or public source before it goes up, and sources are linked on each page.
• Each guide shows a "Last checked" date. If we cannot confirm something, we leave it off instead of guessing.
• Rules and schedules change. Please check the linked source before you go.
